Section:

Use: \section{name}

Subsection:

Use: \subsection{name}

List (unumered):

Use:

Emphesis:

\emph{text}

Bold:

\textbf{text} Citation: \cite{reference} (actually managing your bibliography is left out). Citing with parens is done with \citep{reference}, and with a page ref you need: \cite[p. 145]{reference} (or citep).

Cross reference:

\label{marker} will give your a marker that can be used with \ref{marker} or \pageref{marker} is you need the page number.
